When does the troop meet?

In general, boys in the Woodlands Trail will meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. There will also be one "Hit the Trail" activity planned for each month. Sometimes these will be on the 2nd or 4th Thursday, and other times they will be on a Saturday (day camps).
The Navigators and Adventurers will meet on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. They will also participate in "Hit the Trail" activities.
Where does the troop meet?
Troop MI-1776 meets at Brookside Missionary Baptist Church in Shelby Township, MI.
On "Hit the Trail" days, the troop may meet at an off-site location.
How do I join Troop MI-1776?

How much does Trail Life cost?
Trail Life USA assesses an annual membership fee of $30 per youth and $38 per adult. This fee is paid directly to Trail Life USA upon registration.
Each boy and leader will need to purchase a Troop Uniform for $100 and a handbook for ($17 - $37).
Troop MI-1776 assesses troop dues of $100 per year for Woodlands Trailmen and $150 per year for Navigators and Adventurers ($300 maximum per family). This fee covers the cost of a Class B t-shirt, badges and pins, as well as supplies for the program. Please note, there may be some extra cost involved in some "Hit the Trail" activities.
Troop dues may be paid over the course of the program year to ease the initial financial burden.
Where do I purchase uniforms and the handbook?
Uniforms and handbooks may be purchased directly from the Trail Life USA store. Please purchase Standard Light-Weight Cargo Uniform Package or Deluxe Light-Weight Cargo Uniform Package (additional $10- has troop hat).
Handbooks can either be purchased individually ($17) or in a package set with a drawstring bag and some other accessories ($24 - $37). While we recommend the package set, the individual handbook would suit our purposes just fine.
